Description
Norfolk County Council wishes to enter into a contract(s) for health and wellbeing services. The contract will be for 2 Lots, providing Occupational Health services.
The health and well-being of our staff is key to the delivery of services to residents of Norfolk. In conjunction with an in-house health, safety and well-being team, our 7000 managers and employees have access to a number of services in order to provide assessment, treatment and advice in relation to all aspects of their health that have an impact on their job. In addition, we offer these services on a traded basis to local authority schools and academies.
In respect to NCC's vision of this service:
Occupational Health Service - An assessment, advice and treatment service that enables NCC to manage employees appropriately in relation to the effects of health on work and work on health. Norfolk County Council (NCC) is made up of directorates including Adult Social Care, Children's Services, Cultural Services, Education etc. This is Lot 1. Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) is part of NCC but has additional occupational health requirements. NFRS is Lot 2.
