Short description SCC2023/021 -
Marketing Campaign for Sligo Detailed description To develop and deliver a marketing campaign for Sligo highlighting flexible and remote working opportunities, world class facilities, inclusive communities, advanced infrastructure, and promoting the social, economic, and environmental benefits.
The campaign will have the objectives of reaching out to potential remote workers at home and away, showcasing facilities, local communities, connectivity & infrastructure, thereby attracting talent and employment to County Sligo and optimising use and investment in remote working infrastructure by increasing successful bookings.
The campaign will focus on “Our Rural Future”, specifically, the sustainability and revitalisation of rural towns and villages, through employment and enhanced participation in rural communities, and using the continued improvement in digital connectivity to do so.
The target audience will include local communities, the young Sligo diaspora abroad, visitors extending their stay in Sligo, and international citizens who could enjoy the benefits of living in Sligo while working remotely building on Sligo’s existing branding campaign [Sligo. Live Invest Visit] and extending this to focus on flexible and remote working possibilities and demonstrating a clear informed path to a remote working solution to fit individual needs.
Through measurement, feedback, and interactive mapping, it is then intended to demonstrate demand in different areas, and thereby assist with operation and planning at existing hubs, and also inform future targeted investment.
The campaign will show Sligo speak cohesively with regard to remote working, Connected Hubs and Broadband Connection Points, bringing together the different facilities under a common Sligo remote working theme. Full specification in tender documents.
This project must be completed by December 31st 2023.
