Detailed description
The Port of Cork Company is committed to replacing the existing IT communication infrastructure at its Tivoli Terminal headquarters and site offices. This includes LAN and WLAN infrastructure and hardware. The network infrastructure in the Ringaskiddy terminal (the primary location for Port landside activity) has over the past 18 months, been upgraded to maintain the 24/7 operation of the terminal. This includes fibre and wireless LAN supporting activity within the terminal building and across the terminal, external to the building. A scalable full featured Network Management System and Network Access Control solution, as detailed below, have also been deployed. Any proposed solution for the Tivoli terminal will need to be compatible with the Ringaskiddy infrastructure and architecture
