Description
Horsham District Council (the Council) invites tenders for the provision of Arboricultural Services as set out in these documents. This tender is made up of three lots: tree inspections, tree maintenance and woodland works.
The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on 1st April 2025 at 00:00 hours. The Contracts will be awarded for a period of 5 years until 31st March 2030, with an option to extend for a further 12 month or more periods up to a maximum of 5 years subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council.
The Council is procuring these contracts following the Open Procedure under the UK Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council's Procurement Code. The Council will be awarding three contracts, one for the provision of the services detailed for each of the Lots.
Information on the Service Lots are contained in the Specifications. Each Lot has its own Specification, so Bidders need to consider each carefully before deciding to bid on one or more of the Lots.
The Council is seeking to contract with one or more organisations that will manage the Services to the highest levels of satisfaction, professional standards and cost effectiveness. The Contractor(s) will be expected to deliver improvements to service delivery and value for money over the life of the contract. The Contractor(s) also need to consider sustainability and carbon reduction measures during the life of the contract and will work with the Council to achieve these.
The Information for Bidders document contains the information and instructions that Bidders need to ensure that a compliant and completed tender is submitted. Please read the Information for Bidders document carefully as failure to comply with any instructions may result in the rejection or disqualification of your tender from this tender process.
