What is an open procedure?
Any interested supplier may submit a tender in response to an opportunity notice. Contract is suitable for SMEs?Yes Contract is suitable for VCSEs?No DescriptionThe Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to: • maintain and repair the existing network and. • install new systems and equipment. All works will be conducted within the Bradford district. The key activities for maintenance of the existing network are as follows: 1. Maintain all the existing systems (servers) 2. Repair any Traffic signals Communication faults. 3. Repair any Bluetooth detector faults. 4. Repair any pollution detector faults. 5. Repair Clean Air Zone camera faults. 6. Repair faults on the wireless network. 7. Repair fibre faults. 8. Repair faulty equipment. 9. Repair variable message sign faults (communications related faults) 10. Repair any PGS faults (communications related faults) 11. Repair any ANPR faults. 12. Repair any CCTV faults. 13. Clean any equipment. The Council does not have a specified maintenance schedule, where the Council are able, they will provide advanced notice of the required works, however most work will be on an ad-hoc basis. The key activities for installation of new systems and equipment are as follows: 1. Install new hardware. (servers / pc's) 2. Install new software on servers / pcs. 3. Install new radios on to the wireless network. 4. Install new fibre. 5. Install new cameras / ANPR / Bluetooth or other equipment.
