Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust as the Contracting Authority intends to let a
National Professional Services Framework with a maximum duration of four years, which may
be used by public sector bodies / 'Contracting Authorities' as defined by the Public
Contracts Regulations 2015.
The Framework is designed to align with the ambitions of the Construction Playbook, and to
help the public sector deliver on the Government's ambition to 'build back better' bringing
together commercial best practice and reform to drive better, faster, greener delivery.
A Framework go-live date of 1st August 2024 is planned. Please refer to the procurement
documents for a breakdown of the procurement timetable. The Framework is therefore
anticipated to expire in July 2028 but in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015
Framework users may award contracts under the Framework which may exceed the length of
the Framework itself.
Potential Framework users may include: Schools, Academies, Colleges, Universities, Blue
Light/Emergency Services, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Health and Social Care Bodies,
Housing Associations, Libraries and Museums, Registered Charities, Government
Departments, Leisure Providers, Clinical Commissioning Groups; as more particularly set out
in Additional Information below.
Users of the Framework will be able to procure professional services (e.g. Project
Management, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Services, and Budling Surveying. Projects
may be under a Two Stage or Single Stage, or Direct Award procurement route, embracing
multiple forms of contract, in compliance with the restrictions on and full freedoms for the
range of services provided by the CPV codes referenced.
For the avoidance of doubt, the contract will be concluded in the name of Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Alder Hey is the public sector legal entity responsible for hosting the tender process related to the framework award and, on behalf of Alder Hey, Procure Partnerships will manage the operational and practical aspects of selecting the suppliers and running the framework.
