Bickleigh Parish Council invite you to submit a TENDER for the design, installation and handover of the new MEP services as per the below and supporting information.
General Scope of works to be completed:
Upgrade as required plantroom equipment excluding pipework unless it is deemed not fit for purpose. (note existing boilers to be retained)
The existing building management system will be upgraded with a new control panel which will control the existing AHU within the hall along with the new plant and heating zone valves.
Areas to have suitable space temperature sensors, all TRV's to be removed as there will be no requirement for them.
Removal of all electric radiators and replacement with a suitably sized panel radiator.
A new touch screen control panel located behind the reception desk which will allow for the Woolwell Centre team to control the building in zones, rather than having to activate the entire system.
12 month defects liability period.
Your tender is to include for all design work necessary to complete the works.
Acceptable to utilise plastic or pipe for ease of installation as the existing heating system is iron pipework.
Allow for all builders works in connection including making good of all building fabric
along with creating boxings to hide any exposed services.
Allowance for all penetrations to be adequately fire stopped and certified by a suitablycompetent and qualified business.
Existing "heat only boiler" to be relocated within the plantroom to feed a new cylinder for the domestics which will allow for the removal of the gas fire clarofier.
Domestic pipework to be re-configured as required to ensure that the entire building is now on 1 domestic system suitable PoU water heaters are acceptable. (NOT over sink units)
Taps where required to be replaced with concussion taps and TMV's.
Design fee to be allowed for to generate a stage 5 package of construction information including a contractors proposal for acceptable by the BPC.
