The Framework will be designed to meet the needs of UK Fire and Rescue Services (FRS's) for use in residential premises.
The Authority let the current Framework in June 2021, spend through the Framework in the first 3 years was £16.5m and it has been used by 49 Fire and Rescue Services.
The current Framework will expire 31 May 2025, and it is the intention of the Authority to procure and award a new Smoke Alarm Framework in time for the expiry date. Establishing a national Framework Agreement will mean that all Fire and Rescue Authorities in England; Scotland; Wales; Northern Ireland; the States of Jersey; Guernsey and Isle of Man; could have one route to market for the purchase of alarms.
The Framework will be let for four years commencing 1 June 2025. It is anticipated that the tender will be issued January 2025 and awarded by April 2025. These times are estimates only at this stage.
If you are interested in engaging with this opportunity, then please complete and submit this form by 30 October 2024. https://forms.office.com/e/uCnDwaYdeF
