Description
ASC133 Healthwatch Sandwell
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is re-commissioning a local Healthwatch organisation in accordance with our statutory duty and Healthwatch England requirements. Healthwatch Sandwell will be a body corporate which is a social enterprise and will use the Healthwatch trademark under licence from Healthwatch England in relation to its activities. Healthwatch Sandwell will be delivered across the Sandwell Borough and give citizens and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided within their locality.
The duration of the contract will be five years from 1 October 2024. The Council has a fixed annual budget of £180,250.00 per annum and Tenderers must be able to demonstrate how they will make the most effective use of that funding in a way that balances service provision with service development. The Council intends to use an evaluation model based solely on 80% quality and 20% price. The criteria, on which the tender will be evaluated, inclusive of weighting attached, are included in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.
