Any interested supplier may submit a tender in response to an opportunity notice. Contract is suitable for SMEs?Yes Contract is suitable for VCSEs?No DescriptionHull City Council (HCC) and partners are seeking to appoint a consultancy team specialising in transportation to support the development of a Joint Strategic Travel Plan across five public sector partners focused on Hull and its travel to work area. The project will produce a strategic travel plan that will identify common areas across each organisation, in terms of activities and measures currently in place and could be introduced, travel issues experienced, and data collected. The strategic travel plan will include a set of agreed joint objectives across organisations which can be included within individual travel plans. The primary objective of the strategic travel plan is to facilitate the re-use of surplus public land currently providing parking. It must identify and include the key drivers of travel and the need to move to sustainable forms of travel, which will vary across the organisations. It must be cognisant of developing strategic drivers and delivery that may not be fully established within the organisations e.g., electric vehicle charging. It will need to be linked to and reference relevant corporate objectives of the participating organisations. Full details, and full documentation for the tender are available via the YORtender tender portal, under Contract Ref. 89256. More information
