    Description

    Horsham District Council (the Council) invites quotes for the design and build of the refurbishment of an existing play area in Carpenters Meadow, Pulborough, West Sussex as set out in these documents.

    The Council has a maximum budget of £85,000.00 (including a contingency sum of £7,500) to deliver this project. Any bid submission which is over this budget will be immediately discounted. If you are unable to deliver the works within this budget and will not be bidding for the contract as a result, we would be grateful if you could let us know immediately.

    The Practical Completion date for the works is Friday 18th October 2024.

    The works include:
    Design of the refurbishment of the play area (for children from 3 years up to age 8 years).
    Removals of the existing play area equipment and surfaces.
    Supply and installation of the refurbishment work for the play area.
    Post Installation Inspection.

    The Contract Start Date on site for the delivery of the works is scheduled to be on Monday 23 September 2024. If lead times for manufacturing and delivery allow, an earlier start date would be preferred to maximise opportunities for better weather.

    The Council is procuring this contract following a quote process under the Council's Procurement Code and will be awarding one Contract for the provision of all services detailed within the Specification.

    The Council is seeking to contract with an organisation that will manage the Services to the highest levels of satisfaction, professional standards and cost effectiveness.
