In those circumstances, we would be seeking to establish a panel of Veterinary Experts who can be called upon to provide advice. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) may require up to 3 external advisers 'referred to as 'Veterinary Experts' to provide advice to the CMA Inquiry Group conducting a market investigation into Veterinary Services for household pets in the UK. The experts would provide specialist input on veterinary matters, which would be a priority for ensuring that the Group understands the industry and in order to bolster the robustness of any analysis undertaken.
