Contract is suitable for SMEs?Yes Contract is suitable for VCSEs?No DescriptionThe pavilion stands in the grounds of Swanspool Gardens. These gardens, along with Swanspool House (which is not the subject of this application), were gifted by Mr. F. C. Chamberlain for the enjoyment of the town in 1919. Swanspool Pavilion and Gardens are located within close proximity to the town centre. Although they have this central location, they have a calm and secluded feel, with established trees and sweeping paths around the multiple flower beds. Since 1919, tennis courts, two bowls rinks, a putting course and a pavilion were built in the grounds. Sadly, the putting course has long disappeared, the tennis courts are closed due to disrepair, and only one bowls rink is maintained for use. More information
