The British Council is tendering for the development of a content marketing framework for the English and Exams marketing function of the organisation. The British Council envisage the content marketing framework will be organised into three (3) lots as follows:
1. Lot 1: One (1) dedicated B2C content marketing agency on a retainer.
2. Lot 2: One (1) dedicated B2B content marketing agency on a retainer.
3. Lot 3: Three (3) content marketing agencies (B2B and/or B2C) on a framework agreement where work will be awarded on a demand basis. Projects/work will be awarded via a mini competition.
The content marketing agencies on the framework are expected to collaborate with our existing creative and campaign agency partner in delivery and other agency partners on our roster.
Expected range of content marketing services include but are not limited to strategically creating, distributing, optimizing, and managing content to achieve specific marketing goals of the British Council. This includes devising content strategies tailored to target audiences, creating engaging content across various formats and channels, distributing it effectively through platforms like social media, emails and websites, optimising content based on British Council supplied performance data, managing content workflows and calendars, and providing consulting and training to enhance the British Council marketing teams capabilities.
The agency's scope extends to specialised areas such as influencer marketing, content localisation, community management and automation support, offering comprehensive support for the British Council to maximise the impact of content marketing efforts.
The framework contract is for two (2) years with an option of extension for two (2) 12 months (i.e. Potential total contract term of 4-years). The indicative total contract is valued at £3,600,000 exclusive of VAT over the full 4-year term (£890,000 per annum).
