Delivery Partner to Insight Direct UK Limited
Birmingham City Council (the Council) is intending to enter into a contract extension with Insight Direct UK Limited (Insight) for the provision of structured cabling, AV and digital signage services. Insight will be acting as the prime contractor for the services however they will be delivered directly to the Council by Delivery Partners under sub-contact to Insight with the relevant core capabilities, knowledge and skills.
Expressions of interest (EOI) are being sought from additional providers, particularly SME's local to Birmingham who would be interested in becoming a Delivery Partner to Insight and are in a position to provide BCC with the following services:
• Installation of structured cabling (copper and fibre) and associated cabinets, power and ancillary services;
• Installation of wireless access points including mounting and associated cabling;
• Testing and repair of existing installations as required;
• Site surveys to determine the scope of work and associated price for the purpose of bidding for work packages;
• Wireless site surveys, including heat maps, both desktop and physical;
• Point to point wireless / laser / microwave connectivity;
• Supply of associated consumables such as media converters, copper and fibre patch leads, power adapters, couplers and other similar hardware;
• Audio-Visual equipment to support video conferencing and digital signage; and
• Support and maintenance of the above.
To be selected as a Delivery Partner, BCC / Insight will require the following to be provided as a minimum:
• Information relating to your core service capabilities;
• Relevant and recent experience in delivering the services described above;
• Confirmation that you are formally registered as a legal contracting entity at Companies House;
• Confirmation that your regular filed accounts indicate financial stability and you would be happy to submit published accounts to Insight for review; and
• Confirmation that you are happy to sign up to the Insight Partner Agreement if selected.
