The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to help the Ministry of Defence (MOD) (the "Authority") to:
a) Understand the current marketplace for solutions that provide:
b) automated MGMP2 metadata generation
c) automated geospatial feature extraction services
d) automated change detection services for geospatial data
e) end-to-end process orchestration services for geospatial production
f) Identify vendors and capabilities with suitable solutions to meet Defence Geographic Centre (DGC) automation requirements.

3. This RFI does not constitute the initialisation or otherwise form part of any official procurement procedure. The MOD may, at its discretion and at any time, choose not to procure, but maintains the right to use any information supplied for the purposes of future procurements.The issue of this RFI is not a commitment by the Authority to place a contract now or at a later stage.
