The council is currently implementing a Corporate Landlord model. This will see a centralised approach to lead the delivery of efficient, effective and sustainable land and property solutions whilst maximising social and economic returns for Bristol and its residents.
The ownership of the new arrangements for Catering and Events will be the responsibility of the Corporate Landlord to support obtaining maximum value from our estate. The client function with responsibility for the contractual arrangements will sit within the Corporate Landlord operating model, which will be enabled by a defined business management function.
To simplify and streamline our contract estate and drive improved returns from this valuable and diverse range of premises we are looking to engage a single concessionaire with specialist food industry expertise to assume delivery responsibility for the full suite of services under a consolidated concessionary agreement.
We wish to test the level of market interest in this potential contract.
The soft market testing document provides a brief outline of our current position, and the desired deliverables from the potential new contractual arrangement and the proposed procurement route. The level of interest shown in this opportunity and the information provided by respondents will enable the Council to determine the procurement route for this contract.
Any interested organisations should complete the attached Soft Market Testing document and submit via ProContract by 12:00 on Monday 15th July 2024.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a concessions contract. As such the estimated value of the concession contract relates to the total turnover of the concessionaire generated over the duration of the contract, net of value added tax, as estimated by the contracting authority, in consideration for the works and services which are the object of the concession contract and for the supplies incidental to such works and services.
