1.10 The Authority are seeking to implement a system across their hospital sites for a wireless temperature monitoring system that will deliver the following objectives;
• To improve the Authority's overall regulatory compliance with medicines management standards
• Reduce wastage of medicines and the associated financial impact
• Provide a high level of assurance for patient safety
• Release nursing and pharmacy staff time to provide care
