To support NHS England's mandate, NHS England has been commissioning expert organisations since 2014 to enable sixth form students from low socio-economic backgrounds across England to participate in Access to Medicine summer school programmes. The support begins in Year 11 and is continued until they graduate from university and enter employment.
The target is for 900 students to go through the Access to Medicine programme in 2024/5 and 2025/26, from locations across England including local authorities with higher rates of poverty and lower rates of progression to higher education.
This requirement will be contracted for a period of 24 months.
The maximum financial envelope for this requirement is £1,000,050 exc. VAT.
Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.
All clarification questions and submission bids must be received via this portal only and registration is free of charge.
