The London Borough of Sutton are seeking to commission a suitably experienced development company to develop and produce Community Discovery Platform and supply and develop Digital Totems to improve our digital customer experience. The aim of this commission is to:
- Produce a Community Discovery Platform (CDP) that is compatible with our Library Service Platform (LSP): a plug-in that integrates our digital archives, museum collections with our library materials, library events, creative content and room booking into a single platform.
- Enable increased search functionality across the single platform
- Host future audio and visual content on a cloud-based system indefinitely
- Digital totems: supply x10 PCAP 55'' portrait displays totems; using an OS that can integrate with the LSP/ CDP with a public and staff interface; including suppliers/manufacturers guarantee for 3 years after completion of contract
- Digital totems: installing and networking x10 digital totems across our library network
- Content management system: remote CMS that can be used to update and edit public and staff interfaces connected to the digital totems
- Support for the CDP and Software for totems 3 years after completion of the contract
The commission will support digital transformation aims within the service by putting our digital offer infront of our library service users. This Commission is open to all development companies with experience in platforms that can host archival and creative outputs, and who have technical knowledge to meet the requirements of this commission.
Follow the instructions given in the description or the more information section.
