The National Park Authority are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to install rock net fence protection to a number of sites along the Monsal Trail, between Bakewell and Buxton, Derbyshire. The works involve ensuring that safe access to install the fence is provided, protection of the local environment and any individuals in the area and the installation of the rock net fence itself. It is envisaged that this work will be undertaken by IRATA qualified operatives and be managed as a working at height activity.
A full tender pack including details of the scope and location of the works alongside a brief and concept designs can be obtained once an expression of interest is received by emailing Catherine.johnson@peakdistrict.gov.uk and requesting the tender pack reference 'Monsal - Rock Fence Protection'.
Please note that site visits are mandatory and must be notified to the Authority in advance.
