The United Nations Office for Project Services , Ethiopian Multi-country office (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS ETMCO) is pleased to invite competent Bidders to submit their respective competitive Bids for the Supply, installation, Commissioning and training of Cryogenic Compact Liquid Nitrogen Plant & Liquid Nitrogen Tank for Armauer Hanson Research Institute/AHRI/, Addis Ababa, Ethiopian in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and “Schedule of Requirements” herein uploaded under file ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please be informed that we need more vapor space than the liquid nitrogen storage volume since storing samples in a Vapor phase is strongly recommended due to contamination and other issues. Thus, we need more vapor space for both lot 2 and lot 3.Best Regards,

New clarification added: Dear Bidders, It is a human error.Please consider IEC 60204-1- it provides requirements and recommendations related to the electrical equipment of machinery so as to promote: - Safety of persons and property; – Consistency of control response; - Ease of operation and maintenance . New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please kindly note that the responsibility of UNOPS under DAP Incoterm is to facilitate the necessary import documents with the client and settle payments such as Import duties, VAT, local taxes and Any additional local fees required for final delivery. The Bidder is responsible for customs clearance in Ethiopia, offloading and delivery of the goods to the client premises.Best Regards,

New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Here below is the clarification response.All the requirements stated on the ITB should be fulfilled. Accordingly bidders should provide- Filled He gas cylinder with dual stage regulator, as this is one of the specifications reflected in the ITB.The intervention times for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as the accessories to be used for this task, will be as per the indication of the equipment manufacturer's. The bidder must indicate the intervention times according to the manufacturer recommendation and specify the preventive and maintenance kits in their bid during the warranty period.Best Regards,
