Technical assistance to conduct end-line assessment of Primary Health Care and Local Health System Strengthening in NTB Province.
Indonesia's Primary Health Care (PHC) transformation is a key pillar of its Universal Health
Coverage (UHC) agenda, mandated by Health Law No. 17/2023. However, challenges such as
financial constraints, workforce maldistribution, and fragmented health information systems
persist.
Since 2022, UNICEF, in collaboration with MoHA and MoH, has supported PHC strengthening
in NTB Province, expanding from Lombok Barat and Lombok Timur to Bima and Sumbawa
Barat in 2023. The initiative focuses on data utilization, governance, strategic planning,
supervision, and quality improvement, reaching 76 Puskesmas through workshops, training, and
coaching.
As the program approaches its 2025 exit strategy, UNICEF seeks an expert institution to
conduct an endline assessment and develop a scaling-up roadmap for sustainable PHC
strengthening.
