    Description

    The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) is looking to procure temporary teacher assessment (TA) standardisation team leader (STL) and deputy standardisation team leader (DSTL) roles at key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2). These roles will consist of selecting pupil scripts and producing commentaries, as well as quality assuring, and facilitating at our national moderator training events. National training and standardisation will ensure the TA frameworks (TAFs) are applied accurately and consistently across the country, which will provide a robust and reliable national data set.

    We are planning for the opportunity to go live from 23 March 2020 until 14 April 2020 on the Department for Education's (DfE) e-procurement system, Jaggaer, and advertised on Contracts Finder.

    To tender for this work, you will need to pre-register with Jaggaer before the competition closes and within the time frame for submitting a bid.

    The Authority administers all procurements electronically via the Department for Education e-procurement Solution portal (Jaggaer).

    No hard copy documents will be issued and all communications with the Authority (including final submission of Tender responses) must be conducted via Jaggaer. To ensure all communications relating to this procurement are received, potential suppliers must ensure that the point of contact they nominate in the Jaggaer portal is accurate at all times. Access to the Jaggaer portal is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year anywhere in the world via the internet unless notified otherwise by the Jaggaer portal.

    Please note our competition will be a two-part process where bidders have to pass a mandatory requirements section in order to complete part two of the bidding process.

    The mandatory requirements when applying for these opportunities are:

    Knowledge of the English programmes of study: key stages 1 and 2 and the relevant following guidance:

    2019/20 teacher assessment frameworks at the end of KS1

    2019/20 teacher assessment frameworks at the end of KS2

    Demonstrable experience of KS1 or KS2 moderation (within the last 3 years)

    experience of awarding English writing TA judgements or moderating standards against the KS1 or KS2 teacher assessment frameworks (TAFs)

    Have received approval to moderate from STA within the last 3 years.
